Savvy business partners and symbiotic friends, Cristina Cohen and Julie Medeiros join forces in the styling partnership CC & Jules. Los Angeles natives, Cristina and Julie met while attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Throughout the two years they attended college, the vibrant duo worked on many projects together that would eventually lead up to their partnership, CC & Jules. After graduating from FIDM with a Degree in Visual Communications Cristina worked and assisted several high-profile stylists and gained “meet a deadline” experience in editorial work and designed a music video for an up and coming band. Julie assisted on short and feature films such as, Orchids a short film directed by Bryce Dallas Howard and 2008 Sundance selection, Good Dick starring Jason Ritter and Marianna Palka.
After gaining experience in the styling world, Cristina went in a new direction and landed a Job at Evolutionary Media Group PR (EMGPR) where she represented clothing lines such as, K.Z.O and Smoke & Mirrors. Julie worked for costume designer Debra McGuire, and eventually took the position as her assistant, working with Debra while she costumed, Atlanta a play directed by Adrian Pasdar, Year One starring Jack Black and Michael Cera, and NBC’s hit show Heroes. In late 2008 Cristina left EMGPR to pursue her career in fashion styling where she went on to style photo shoots, music videos, as well as produced and styled a fashion show for the California Market Center. Not long after, Julie wrapped the third season of Heroes and the two-some joined together to form CC & Jules.
Cristina and Julie are both endowed with fabulous taste, but it is their individuality and their diverse styles that come together to create the brilliant mélange of CC & Jules.
